Two of these drives are connected together with a rotary connecting plate and form the B/C drive.
They are both stepper motor driven, nema 24, 300 oz./in, @ 2.8 amps.
The stepper motors are an integral part of the drives and are included, servos are not an option at this time.





DD100
This ratio gives a very good resolution, 60,000 steps per rev, and 166.666 micro steps per deg..
positional repeatablity; + - 10 arc seconds. The units maximum fast travel is 20 RPM.
With a chuck attached, the units can be mounted vertically or horizontally, like an indexing head or rotary table, and you can load your heaviest part with confidence, the needle roller thrust bearings can handle it.
The drive also includes a homing sensor. 
The weight is just 3.5 Kg. (8lb)
                       
One of the main features of the Doughty Drive's unique design is that it has NO backlash.
It has a reduction ratio of  30 : 1, giving great holding torque of 20 ft/lbs - 27 Nm.
B/C Drive
With the use of an HSD 1.5 HP spindle, ( it is the right size, weight (3.5Kg / 8 lbs) and power rating for our drives. Model MT1055 ) or similar sized router, the drives are suitable for routing foam, wood or light aluminium.
The drives also includes needle thrust bearings and homing sensors.  The weight is just 9.5 Kg. (21lb)
